UAB Dzūkijos vandenys is a private limited company that supplies drinking water, operates sewage network equipment, lays and repairs water supply and sewage systems, and performs other works in the Alytus city water management farm.

UAB Dzūkijos vandenys was founded more than five decades ago, in 1963. The company’s purpose is to provide reliable water supply and wastewater treatment services to consumers at the lowest cost and with minimal damage to the environment.

In 2004, the company implemented an integrated quality and environmental management system that meets the requirements of the international standards LST EN ISO 9001: 2008 and LST EN ISO 14001: 2015.

At the end of 2018, the re-certification of the management system according to LST EN ISO 9001: 2015, LST EN ISO 14001: 2015 was successfully performed.

The Company has implemented 29 procedures which define different processes carried out in the Company, and their interaction. These requirements are applied to the whole activities connected with the water supply, waste water disposal, sludge arrangement; design, construction, maintenance and repairs of the water supply and sewage networks. The implemented system includes a wide range of activity spheres connected with taking responsibilities on entering into agreement with customers, fulfillment and control of these responsibilities, planning the Company’s resources and management in order to achieve strategic goals and develop activities. The system should prove the ability of the Company to supply high quality products that correspond to the requirements of the customer, and establish the ways of constant improvement.

Considering the specifics of the Company work and requirements of ISO standards, the Company established and adopted its Quality and Environment Policy.
